The General Assembly is held at the beginning of each fiscal year. Representatives from all member companies make decisions on important matters concerning the operation of the organization, such as annual activity plans, budgets, and the appointment of directors. |
The Board of Directors Meeting is usually held three times a year and is convened by the President of KYOHOKAI. Directors selected from among the member companies discuss basic policies for the operation of the organization and other important matters. |
Twice a year, representatives of member companies gather to discuss timely issues, involving TMC executives, and conduct on-site visits to see the actual situation (i.e., Genchi-Genbutsu), thereby deepening understanding of common issues and promoting two-way communication. |
In business management lectures, noted lecturers from both Japan and abroad as well as TMC executives are invited to share their insights on topical management issues. Theme lectures feature expert presentations on topics of interest to KYOHOKAI member companies. A total of three lectures are generally held each year. |
Various events are organized for TMC executives and representatives of KYOHOKAI member companies to facilitate and foster friendship and communication. |
KYOHOKAI solicits the participation of its members in theme-specific research activities, the results of which become the basis for recommendations made to member companies and TMC. Research themes are selected from a variety of fields including safety, quality, and human resource development, on the basis of TMC procurement policy as well as KYOHOKAI policies. |
KYOHOKAI organizes a variety of activities for promoting two-way communication and mutual learning between TMC and KYOHOKAI members in order to develop a common understanding of issues affecting the automotive industry and to work together to address them. These activities include regularly scheduled meetings, special interest group activities, and other activities promoting KYOHOKAI goals. |
The KYOHOKAI website periodically publishes interviews with TMC executives and KYOHOKAI directors, in which the interviewees address a wide range of pertinent issues, including KYOHOKAI activities, personal interests, and their thoughts on day-to-day business activities. |
